December and Going into The New Year

First off December was wild! I was originally going into December with two scheduled events one being Donation Day and the second being Christmas at The Fort. And then I was able to attend a last minuet event held by 107.9 CKBG The Burg.

December 6th 2025 I held my first annual Donation Day at The Fort Fun Centre in Amherstburg, Ontario. It was such a fun day, filled with photos, food, and good laughs. Greg and Justyne have such a fantastic business going and such an amazing group of staff to go along with it.

I'm so thankful December 6th was so great, I was then invited back to The Fort Fun Centre December 13th for Christmas at The Fort. Where I continued to take Christmas Photos by donation with all proceeds going to Ronald McDonald House Charities. We were able to donate $255 along with hygiene items, a baby blanket and a box of snacks to RMHC-SWO Windsor. And for a first event I am quite content with calling that successful.

Now the third event that was in between the first two events was a screening for a local docuseries Radio Renaissance: Amherstburg's New Wave. The docuseries is a true story of Marty Adler's story of how he started 107.9 CKBG The Burg. It was actually pretty cool so if you are able to I highly recommend.

December 19th I received an email I was hoping and praying I'd receive. I was chosen to be a finalist for the Canadian Choice Awards! Wild! They will be announcing the winners in January so that's something I'm looking forward to.

The other things I'm excited for and looking forward to if that I am releasing some extra services one of them being magnet making, I recently started turning my photos into magnets for you to take home and have on your fridge, but something even more cool is that they are completely customizable. And for the Christmas season next year I'll also have customizable Christmas ornaments. And another big thing that I am working on is JDeVries Marketing hopefully will be up and running Summer of 2026!

I'm also working Spring photo sessions, so stay tuned for those, I'm working on at least two different set ups starting in March-April and going until the summer when we can book beach minis!
